A four-day International webinar on "Systems of Education around the Globe-A Critical Appraisal" was organized from 19th to 22nd October in collaboration with St. Xavier's College of Education and JCERT(Jesuit Council for Education, Research, and Training). The resources persons were from various countries gave clear views about different education systems followed in Finland, Singapore, Norway, Germany, Canada, England, America, Dubai, Japan, Australia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Rev. Dr. L. Vasanthi Medona, Educational Councillor, explained clearly about the educational system followed in Africa. The webinar has been an excellent way to reach out to a broad and geographically dispersed audience. It helped everyone imbibe knowledge about the global education system.

Two day national webinar on "Research Methodology and Statistical Techniques" was held on 27th and 28th October 2020 with the blessings and guidance of patron Rev.Sr.Magdalene Therese, Secretary, and convener, Dr.M.Maria Saroja, Principal i/c. The first-day session was on the topic "Parametric & Non-Parametric Statistics." Prof. Ashutosh Biswal, Department of Education (CASE), The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, served as the resource person. In his presentation, he insisted on using statistical measurements and practical approaches for doing better research. He shared examples of various projects with parametric and non-parametric tests. The topic for the second day was "Design of Experiment in Educational Research." Dr.Chitra Dey, Assistant Professor, VIT. Business School Chennai for OB HRM and Analytics, Chennai, served as a resource person. She focused on planning and constructing experiments and analyzing interpreting data obtained from the experimental studies. Dr.N.Theresita Shanthi, Controller of Examinations & Assistant Professor of Physical Science, and Ms.E.Michael Jeya Priya, Assistant Professor of Biological Science, served as the organizing secretaries.
